DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

University of Glasgow

CityCAD was used again in 2018 by postgraduate students to prepare a development proposal for a large site at India Street in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland.

CityCAD allowed urban design questions of scale, massing and site organization to be explored at the same time as planning and financial viability.

This scheme by Conor Watt included public spaces at the north and south ends of the site.

This scheme by James Dickinson proposed a mix of offices, flats and mixed uses at ground floor level.

This scheme by Raffael Hauck proposes a mixed-use building in the centre of the block with coworking spaces and serviced apartments.
