If you are working on a masterplan, and are looking for real-world case studies of housing projects, urban spaces or streets, then this website will help you find them.

There are many case studies published on the internet, but this site allows you to search based on numerical design data, such as width, area or number of dwellings.

For example, if your masterplan includes a public space that is 1.6ha in size, you can click 'Urban Spaces' above and search for real-world examples of that size.

Do you know a good place near you?

If you know a good housing project, urban space or street that we haven't included, please take a moment to tell us.

Please include a short description and your name if you want to be credited in the search results.
If it is a housing project, please include number of dwellings, if possible a breakdown of how many houses/apartments, and residential density.
If it is an urban street, please include an area in sqm and a description of the shape. If a street, then a typical width in metres
Most importantly, please include a latitude and longitude so we can provide a link to Google Maps. (This should use the WGS84 coordinate system and not, for example, OSGB coordinates. The easiest way to get these is to go to Google maps, navigate to the place, right-click on it and select 'What's Here?'. The latitude and longitude will then appear in the search bar.)
