Access to good information and design resources can give you a signficant competitive advantage. CityCAD 2.0 includes a new online service embedded into the City Design Assistant panel, where various information resources can be found.

You can also create and manage your own library of frequently used urban typologies (saved as URB files, pictured above) which can be 'dragged' from a list straight into your model. These can be incorporated into new designs or used to quickly compare your proposed masterplans against well known existing places.

In addition, we are introducing two experimental case study databases into CityCAD 2.0 - the urban spaces library and a library of housing projects. The idea is you can select elements in your model, and then view a list of real-world examples of the same size or type, making it quicker and easier to find relevant case studies.
